Congratulations to the Class of 2012
his has been an excellent year for our sixth form students, and we wish the Class of 2012 every success as they leave us
and venture out into the wider world. University destinations this year include Birmingham, Bristol, BUWE, Cambridge,
Cardiff, Imperial College London, LSE, Loughborough, Manchester Met, Newcastle, Northumbria, Oxford, Plymouth,
Royal Agricultural College, UCL, Warwick and York. Other ventures for our leavers include: GAP years to Fiji, hailand,
America, Australia, New Zealand; doing the Orchard's Cookery course and undertaking a chalet season in France.
Four King's College pupils have been offered places by colleges
at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Ella Watts has been
offered a place to read Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic at St
Catharine's College, Cambridge, while local pupils Connie
Holmes and Greg Albery have won places at Oxford to read
Biological Sciences at Pembroke College and Keble College
respectively. Charles Marshall has been offered a place at
Oxford to read Computer Science.
Connie, Greg and Charles all began their education at King's
Hall School before moving on to King's College.
