INTEGRATING TODAY'S
TECHNOLOGIES FOR
TOMORROW'S CAPABILITIES
Indian companies understand the implications of failing to create better
customer experiences while also reducing costs. And they are not alone. A
recent study by Accenture and HfS Research revealed that 64 percent of global
executives fear the survival of their companies if they are unable to deliver on
these two imperatives through digital investments.
Our research also indicates that combining technologies can multiply the
financial value of what each technology would deliver on its own. However,
businesses should not combine technologies without first determining their
exact needs, opportunities and how to best apply digital technology to reinvent
operating models, production processes and value chains (refer to Figure 3).
Enterprises need a seamless process for transforming their cores to avoid costly
and onerous integration.
