North East Fife is the most

marginal constituency in the

country - with an SNP majority of

just 2 votes. What is it like being

the candidate for the area?

I think attending my first Federal

Autumn Conference last month

certainly brought home to me the

importance of the seat to the party,

and I feel hugely privileged to have

been selected to hopefully follow in

Sir Ming Campbell's footsteps.

I'm fortunate to have the support of

a strong local party and Willie

Rennie as the constituency MSP, so

although it's a very steep learning

curve, I am being very ably

supported.

What are the issues you care

most about? What would you

focus on achieving if you became

the MP for North East Fife?

Social mobility and improving life

chances through education are key

policy areas for me. As a parent, I

want my children to be able to have

at least the same opportunities as I

have enjoyed, and that should be

the same for every child.
