North East Fife is the most
marginal constituency in the
country - with an SNP majority of
just 2 votes. What is it like being
the candidate for the area?
I think attending my first Federal
Autumn Conference last month
certainly brought home to me the
importance of the seat to the party,
and I feel hugely privileged to have
been selected to hopefully follow in
Sir Ming Campbell's footsteps.

most about? What would you
focus on achieving if you became
the MP for North East Fife?
Social mobility and improving life
chances through education are key
policy areas for me. As a parent, I
want my children to be able to have
at least the same opportunities as I
have enjoyed, and that should be
the same for every child.
