As a sports ambassador I'm
passionate about improving
participation in healthy lifestyles.
Participation in sport shouldn't be
dependent on the ability of parents
to pay or transport to events.
Currently, however, Brexit simply
wrecks it. Key economies within
North East Fife will be directly
impacted by our departure from
the EU, including universities (St
Andrews), tourism and agriculture.
North East Fife has voted to remain
in the UK and the EU, and the
Liberal Democrats are the only
party standing strongly for both.
Who are your political heroes?
My grandfather was good friends
with Liberal Democrat MP and peer
Ray Michie, and I remember
meeting her as a child at my
family's small hotel in Argyll on a
couple of occasions.
She was a strong supporter of both
"Home Rule" and the development
of Gaelic (which should not simply
be seen as the domain of the SNP
today), these are positions I identify
with strongly. I believe we have
much to do as party to develop our
belief in Federalism into a coherent
