AD LIB NOV 18 | PAGE 5

In Carshalton and Wallington I have

held meetings with EU citizens and

with businesses. A meeting to

discuss the impact of Brexit on the

Afro-Caribbean community is

organised.

To ensure MPs can make informed

decisions, I am engaged in a legal

case with a Labour MP, and

committed Remainer, seeking legal

confirmation through the Court of

Justice of the European Union that

Article 50 is revocable.

We have built a strong social media

presence for the Lib Dem antiBrexit

brand.

The team in Westminster, which

includes Baroness Ludford and

Lord Newby and Wera Hobhouse

MP, collectively have spoken in tens

of debates and tabled hundreds of

Parliamentary Questions. We are

supported by excellent staff.

Work is under way with academics

to draft a referendum bill so one is

available, and ready to roll off the

printing presses, should a People's

Vote be secured.

And thanks to Your Liberal Britain, a

network of volunteer copywriters

and story spotters has been

created to help the Lib Dem Brexit

team in the battle against Brexit.

I am proud of what the team has

achieved and I hope you would

agree that the last 12 months

haven't been wasted!
