Employment Support
Grant received to deliver training for single parents
The Employment Support Team has been awarded
£30,000 of funding to provide training for 60 single
parents.
The Lone Parent Stepping Stones programme, which
was first launched in 2018, has been awarded funds
by the Building Better Opportunities project to fund
six more courses. The first one will begin in March
2019, and it will be delivered throughout Scunthorpe.
It includes travel and childcare costs, and also a range
of activities, courses and visits.
