Established in 1991, IMSM has grown

to become an international market leader

in quality (ISO 9001), environmental

(ISO 14001), health and safety (BS

OHSAS 18001), information security

(ISO 27001) and business continuity

management systems (ISO 22301) and

many others.

cations. It has

a lifting force of

up to 6,000

Nm, even with

high torque

load, and a

maximum bending movement of 1,000

Nm. Its integrated roller guiding element

allows a backlash-free guiding system

and smooth, flexible running.

The system incorporates lifetime

lubrication and its long service life and

high speed make it ideal for cycle-related

processes. Roemheld's new power

supply for mobile systems offers a

network-independent power supply using

rechargeable battery technology to

minimise downtime.

Roemheld, which has customers in

several energy sectors including offshore

wind and mining, has extended its Modulog range of materials

handling technology with a new

rotating module, new lifting module

and new power supply.

The new horizontal axis rotating module rotates

in both directions and has

an auto stop facility and a low backlash gear.

It offers a maximum torque

of 350 Nm and a maximum bending

moment of 4,000 Nm. It allows components to

be rotated quickly and

safely and its electrically operated

motor is virtually wear-free for a long

service life.

The new lifting module is designed to

meet performance and longevity

demands of industrial assembly appliROEMHELD (UK)

HANDLING TECHNOLOGY JUST GETS

BETTER, BETTER AND BETTER

Whatever the future, we can be

certain of one thing, and that is of

constant change. ISO standards

mirror the pace of change, regularly

revising standards to reflect industry

for today and tomorrow.

In energy sectors the need for up to

date international standards is crucial

for success and GTMA member IMSM

is able to work with most levels in the

supply chain. It has served clients

across a wide range of sectors through

a network of 15 offices in 20 countries

worldwide and services include:

and even in-house created threads onto its

hard wearing measuring anvils. When fitted to

the company's advanced XT Xtreme Digital

Bore Gauges, users can now quickly achieve

impressive accurate and repeatable internal

thread measuring results.

Ideal for companies' inspection departments,

or even for use within hostile measuring environments

such as in close proximity to

machine tools, Bowers' cost-effective XT

Xtreme Digital Gauges boast a very impressive IP65 rating,

rendering them resistant to

coolant, water and airborne particles.

Available to measure thread sizes from 3mm

up to 300mm, incorporated features include

large, clear digital displays, metric/inch conversion and an RS 232 output.
