Who's Protecting The Kids?

SOMETIMES I think the world has gone crazy over the last few years. Maybe it's me when I turned 60 this

year or maybe things have taken a strange turn. You decide.

THERE is a new buzzword among new parents these days - it is the word "THEYBIES" which is a baby

born and raised free of the constraints of gender designations. Some parents are adopting the child rearing

practice, which includes keeping the baby's anatomy a secret from others and referring to the child only by

a plural pronoun, in an effort to raise a more creative and uninhibited human. Retailers are now jumping on

this bandwagon idea of gender neutral children and the trend is gaining ground with millennial parents and

will likely increase.

OK - there it is. Is it me or has the world gone flipping mad? Gender neutral children? I think that these

parents and the people pushing this agenda are tinkering with potentially horrific outcomes. It is not just

enough to promote the color blue as good for both boys and girls or toy car play should be encouraged to

both genders - no, that;s not good enough. We will, in our inifinite wisdom, do away with gender all together.

PROPONENTS claim that this new way to approach sexuality is mindful of gender stereotypes and how

that could be harmful. And while I agree that no colors, toys or other things should be off limits to either sex

- I also realize that there ARE boys and girls out there.

AS long as the masses of progressive idiocy has spending power the retailers and suppliers in the industry

will back their agendas. Many leading brands have jumped on this crazy train that includes gender-less baby

clothes and other items.

MAYBE people of the world have too much time on their hands or just overthink everything that comes in

front of them. And the unfortunate part of all this, from my perspective, is the poor defenseless genderless

baby that is depending on these idiots to raise them and make the right decisions for their lives. And I thought

my parents were awful. OMG - someone has to step up and remind these people that humans are created as

boys and girls and while sometimes individuals may have doubts or concerns about their sexuality, situations

like this are best addressed with honesty and reality rather than to pretend that society is genderless.

HOW many more years till I can retire from all this craziness?

Macy's Continues To Revamp

WITH its cusomers showing that they like shopping both online and in the stores, Macy's has

been taking many new steps to tie its physical stores more closely to its e-commerce business

operation. Through research data macy's has found that 90% of their customers research online

at least occasionally before making a purchase in a store. This is a big factor in helping Macy's

alter their marketing and approach.

THE physical stores are adding Wi-Fi to ensure that consumers and store clerks have good

online access as shopping tools while in the stores. The company also plans to have 300 stores

capable of handling fulfillment of online orders.

WHEN shoppers can't find what they want in the store, Macy's plans to offer a new search and

send service that will enable clerks to determine availability at other stores or arrange to have the

item shipped to the customer directly.

MACY's has been actively closing non productive units and doing refurbishing at other units to

increase their Backstage area clearance centers in stores. Web sales have increased 40% thus far.
