DEER PARK TOUR
AND FAWN FEEDING EXPERIENCE
FALCONRY AT BOVEY CASTLE
Our Deer Park Tour is guided by one of the estate Deer Keepers, and consists of
a 1 hour walking tour of the stunning Bovey Castle Deer Park.
You'll experience the daily feeding of the deer and enjoy very close encounters learning about
their lifecycle, nutrition and how they fit into the conservation model on the Bovey Castle Estate.
Spending time with these magnificent animals is a truly wonderful experience for all the family.
Price: from £15.00 per person for a one hour guided tour.
Fawn Feeding Experience:
Enjoy the truly magical experience of handling and feeding our beautiful deer fawns. A once in a
lifetime opportunity to spend time with real life Bambi's at Bovey Castle!
Price: £30.00 per person

Birds of Prey Experience
This 60 minute session takes place in the grounds of our gorgeous Estate and involves
the handling and flying of smaller birds of prey such as hawks and owls.
The experience is suitable for children (accompanied by an adult) and is ideal for family
groups, allowing all to participate in this wonderful experience.
Price: £65.00 per person
Minimum booking of 2 guests
Falconry Experience:
This is a rare and unique experience, which takes place at our Falconer's farm.
It's a short, 5 minute drive-away and we'll arrange transport for you.
In this 3 hour session you'll be introduced to the various types of birds of prey which
Martin cares for, before flying owls and working with high-speed falcons.
The highlight is flying Martin's eagles, which are the only birds of their magnitude in the
UK that can be handled and flown by members of the public.
To round off this incredible activity you'll walk back to the hotel with Martin and
a hawk escort.
