Simon Gillis & Erik Saelensminde were the

winners of the Championship Pairs at the

London Easter Festival. In second place were

David Gold & Catherine Seale. Frances Hinden &

Graham Osborne came third.

Sunday saw London's teams event, which was won

by Jack Mizel, Tore Marskar, Brian Senior and

Ingar Hansen (pictured, left to right not including

Jack Mizel) with a score of 100 VPs, just ahead of

the Baker team in second place. Three teams were

joint in third place - Sansom, Ivanov and Hackett.

Eden were second.

London's Jack High

Swiss Pairs, was

won by Alistair

Brown & Terry

Dillon, who were

just 1 VP ahead of

Philip Goldenberg

& Diana Cook.

Stephen White &

Ala Swietochowski

were third.

The Open Pairs was won by

Andrew Thompson & Dan

Crofts, with Pat Watson &

Carolyn Fisher in second

place.

The Mixed Pairs was won

by David Harrison and Jill

Rushton, with Michael Levi

and Fiona Brown in second.

Robin Jepson & Alan Brosgill won the main Swiss

Pairs at the Northern Easter Festival in Ilkley.

Steve Ray & Georgia Ray came second, with Jackie

Pye & John Holland in third place.

The Improvers

Teams was won by

Katherin Libbert,

Jon Crook,

Andrew Pearson &

Kathy Pearson.

The Binks team finished second, with the Clifford

team in third place. Congratulations to Andrew

Pearson & Kathy Pearson (centre) who also won

the Improvers Pairs.

The Swiss Teams was won by Michael Newman, John

Holland, Jackie Pye & Alan Mould. The Hayward team

finished second, just 2 VPs ahead of the Kenyon team in

third place.
