Wear Green for Joseph Day returned
in September with a fitting event to
celebrate our much-missed colleague
Joseph Mugabe.
A football match was held on the Track with staff and
young people alike taking part.
Despite the pouring rain, dozens of players and
spectators came along, with drinks and cakes
provided afterwards.
Joseph, a Senior Autism Practitioner in Todhunter
House, who had a huge influence on the lives of
scores of young people and staff, died in August last
year, having been ill for several weeks.
Staff from across site also chose to wear green on the
day as this is the colour of Caps United, the football
team in Zimbabwe Joseph played for with great
distinction before he moved to the UK.
