Prior's Court has hosted its first-ever
networking event on-site, to bring
together local businesses.
'Connect for Complex Autism' was attended by
representatives from Charles Hunter Associates,
Vodafone, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service,
Essential Therapeutic Care, BNP Paribas Leasing
Solutions, and Apple Print.
The delegates had opportunities to mingle and
network, before listening to a panel of speakers and
then trying their hand at some micro-volunteering
on our site.
Thank you to Matt, Ferial, and Scarlett who are
parents of young people at Prior's Court, and Matt
Phelps and Claudine Osso, staff members at Prior's
Court, for sharing their experiences and knowledge
of complex autism during a panel discussion at the
event.
On Wednesday, 6 December, Prior's
Court is hosting our inaugural 'Carols for
Complex Autism'.
'Carols for Complex Autism on Wednesday,
6 December will be held at The Old Mill, in
Aldermaston.
Expect an evening filled with mince pies (baked by
the wonderful young people at Prior's Court), mulled
wine, and music provided by the Reading Phoenix
Choir.
On the night there will be a festive raffle, a Christmas
present wrapping service (subject to availability), and
Prior's Court bakery mince pies
on sale, with all proceeds going
towards our Performing Arts
Centre fundraising appeal. Scan

Prior's Court "took over"
Newbury parkrun in October
to spread the word about our
work.
More than a dozen Prior's Court staff
members and their families (and pets)
volunteered to supportthe weekly event
at Greenham Common.
This was the second "parkrun takeover"
done by Prior's Court with the drier
weather much welcomed after a very
rainy takeover in April to mark World
Autism Acceptance Week.
