Corporate volunteering packages are
back at Prior's Court.
After a nearly 18-month hiatus due to the Covid-19
pandemic, in June we welcomed our fi rst group of
volunteers to our beautiful site.
A team of six from Vodafone, who had not physically
seen each other for over a year, built and installed
benches in what will grow into our on-site orchard.
Appropriately, a team from Vodafone was the last
group of volunteers on-site pre-pandemic.
In the following week, there was a visit from another
group from Vodafone who contributed to a new
sensory garden project, while a team from Fujitsu
also got to work on-site with us by installing a
sunken trampoline.
Plenty more volunteer visits followed throughout
July and August.
Jill McDonagh, our Corporate Fundraising
Manager, said: "Our corporate volunteering
opportunities are great for teambuilding and fi nding
out more about the work we do.
"Plus, you leave at the end of the day with the
knowledge you have made a contribution to
changing the lives of young people with complex
autism."

Return to riding Four of our young people
have been re-acquainting
themselves with the joy
horse-riding can bring
after a Covid-imposed
hiatus on lessons.
The last term of the 2020/21
academic year featured our
young people returning to
Newbury and Lambourn RDAs
to have Covid-secure riding
lessons with the wonderful
teams at both sites.
The two young people to visit
Lambourn RDA were even
given rosettes at the end
of their fi nal session of the
year, in recognition of their
achievements.
Horse-riding provides a wide
range of therapeutic benefi ts
and is a fi rm favourite for many of
our young people.
In the following week, there was a visit from another
