A huge thank you to the teams of
corporate volunteers who have been
making a difference to our site in recent
months.
From April to June, we had 78 volunteers donate 338
hours of their time helping us to complete projects
which enhance our site and so improve the lives of
our young people and staff teams.
This has included teams from:
l Thames Water and Gamma creating a staff
wellbeing garden,
l McCarthy Stone and Waitrose & Partners widening
our Track,
l BNP Paribas installing a new front gate system
and improving the surrounding area,
l Vodafone cladding our future orchard building and
clearing it out ready for apple storage,
l And Unum building a new garden shed for
Summerhill House's garden and planting around the
front gate area.
And a thank you
to for donations
received from April
to June which has
included:
l £207 raised by our
recruitment team at two
events,
l £1,000 from the Morgan Charitable
foundation,
l £2,500 from the Illiffe family charitable trust,
l £3,107 from Vail Williams as its charity of the year,
l £1,000 from Persimmon community champion
award for use towards a new careers library,
l £4,000 from Thames Water towards a new pool
