Also, if you think of questions that you’d like to ask after the interview, do get in touch.
Once you've completed your interview, we'll be in touch with you, either way, within two working weeks to let you know if you've been successful.
If you have been successful, we will talk you through the conditional offer and process this in the system. Your offer will be subject to completing compliance checks and a member of the Compliance Team will be in touch to talk you through this .
You will also received our 'Onboarding Guide', which provides useful induction information.
Before your interview
- Have a copy of your CV to hand to refer to should you need it.
- If you are interviewing virtually have a glass of water nearby.
- Think about questions you may wish to ask your interviewer at the end.
- Think about how best to present yourself in a professional way, for example by dressing smartly. It sets the tone and shows that you understand the need for presentation, respect, and pride in your role and for the employer.
During your interview
- It’s ok to ask the interviewer to repeat the question, and it would be ok to make a note of the question to help you keep your answers focused.
- If you need to, take a moment to think of your answer - just let the interviewer knowing you are thinking, they will understand, and it helps to explain any awkward silences.
- Remember to use appropriate vocabulary - remember, you wouldn't talk to your interviewer like you would a friend.
- Switch off your mobile phone to avoid any unnecessary distractions.
