Mallory Court Hotel - Delegate Charter 2026
At Mallory Court, we believe in the power and responsibility of the hospitality industry to
drive meaningful change. We are proud to have received a Gold Award from Green
Tourism, a world-leading sustainability certification for travel, tourism, and hospitality
businesses. This recognition reflects our continued dedication to reducing our
environmental impact and promoting responsible practices across our operations.
We invite you to join us in protecting our shared future by following our Delegate Visitor
Charter and supporting our environmental efforts during your time with us.
Energy Efficiency
We are committed to continuously improving energy efficiency throughout the hotel. As
part of our 2024 refurbishment of the Manor House, we installed new energy-efficient
boilers. We also encourage responsible energy use by both guests and our team members.
Here's how you can help:
• Use the master switch to turn off lights when leaving your meeting room and/or
bedroom.
• Turn power off at the switch when not in use, during breaks and at the end of your
meeting.
• Close windows when the air conditioning is on during your meeting.
Water Conservation
We are focused on reducing water consumption through efficient maintenance and team
training. Our recently refurbished bathrooms feature dual-flush toilets, and we promote
simple habits like turning off taps whilst brushing teeth.
Waste Management
We strive to reduce waste, along with increased recycling practices and procedures across
our property. All our waste is:
• Recycled
• Anaerobically digested
• Incinerated to generate renewable energy
We are committed to reducing food waste, which is contributed to by careful ordering, fulluse
cooking techniques, and ongoing improvements in our kitchen practices.
