Changes to the Commercial Self-Assessment
Tool
Enhancements are being made to the Commercial Self-Assessment
Tool and assessment process, following global participant feedback
after the last round of self-assessments. These changes will simplify
the assessment process for users and support the balance between
completing assessments whilst also managing the demands of running
a successful business.
What is changing?
Previously the assessment process followed a prescribed route
through each of the 35 competencies, following the Commercial
Excellence Framework wheel around each category in turn.
The new interactive menu puts more control in the hands of the user,
allowing them to choose what order they address the competencies in!
Questions within competencies will continue to follow the existing
prescribed order.
When is it changing?
This change will be rolled out into the Commercial Self-Assessment
Tool between 21st and 22nd September. During this maintenance period
the tool will be unavailable for creating new and progressing existing
assessments and action plans.
All new assessments will adopt this new interactive menu to provide a
more user-led assessment process. Also, any in-progress
assessments will switch over to this new menu, retaining any existing
assessment progress.
