You should regularly refer to your appraisal
document to ensure you are on track to achieve
the year's goals. Break down the goals you have
set for the year into more easily achievable
weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives.
Following up
Six months after your appraisal, your line
manager will invite you to an informal meeting to
see how you're coming along with the objectives
you set at the appraisal meeting. This will enable
you to raise any obstacles that you might need
help with, as well as allowing you to ensure that
your goals continue to align with any new
company strategies, targets or core objectives.
