This New Year's, we asked you how you have kept up with
your New Year's resolutions and how you have stayed
motivated in the past. Here's what you had to say:
YOU
SHARED,
WE
LISTENED.
"In the past, keeping up with my New Year's
resolutions was a very difficult task. Despite
the challenges I faced, I overcame any
obstacles I faced with a smile. It's important to
think positively when working to accomplish
your goals for the new year. Remember that
today is a wonderful gift and that nothing is
impossible."
- Valentina Vettese, Shipment and Stealth
Invoicing Specialist, Jimmy Choo Florence
"I feel ecstatic when I successfully achieve a
goal. Oftentimes, I reflect on what I did well or
what I could improve on, and use my learnings
to set new goals. In the past, to ensure I
kept up with my resolutions, I would create
measurable goals, track my progress, practice
patience and forgiveness, and embrace a
buddy system to increase accountability. I
highly recommend others do the same this
year!"
- Kevin Donis, Supervisor, Distribution
Safety & Security, MK California
"It may be difficult to keep some resolutions,
mostly when things don't go as we expect.
On occasions like these, I tried to find a
deeper sense of meaning in my actions, asking
myself questions in order to renew my selfmotivation. Once
I successfully achieved my
goals, I felt grateful and thankful. The goals
I achieved have encouraged me to let go of
what I cannot control and to focus on what I
can manage personally and that is myself and
my attitude."
