Online Sexual Abuse Prevention Service
The service is specifically for children who may have existing vulnerabilities due to
previously facing adverse experiences in their childhood. These adverse experiences
may include physical, sexual or emotional abuse, neglect, domestic abuse or parental
ill health or substance use or absence or separation from parents. Due to their
previous experience there may be a risk of cumulative or heightened impact if they
face sexual abuse online. To prevent this, we want to identify and work with them to
build resilience and to ensure they get a tailored input sensitive to the home
environment and other risk factors.
Prior to referrals being made professionals can arrange to meet with one of the
practitioners to discuss in more detail the service being offered, expectations, a
Working Together Agreement and how to complete the referral forms
