David Hay, Managing Director, Compass Scotland
Compass Scotland was launched in November 2020 with David
at the helm as Managing Director and a renewed commitment
to supporting and growing the Compass UK & Ireland business
across all sectors, co-ordinated under one single organisation.
His view is to grow in Scotland from Scotland with a business
that refl ects the nation's needs, underpinned by a commitment to
people, food, sustainability and close partnerships. David joined
Compass Group in 1998 at the age of 19. Starting his career as
a Hospitality Waiter at a prestigious banking client in Edinburgh.
Since then his career has taken a varied and interesting path
progressing through a number of roles in Compass including
Catering Manager, Regional Manager and Head of Operations
across a variety of sectors.
