Get Ready for the Purley Festival
The Purley Festival is set to take place on 7th to 8th September 2024.
This two-day event will be held in the Rotary Field in Purley and promises to be a
wonderful celebration of fun, talent and community.
The weekend's focal point will be a live music stage with local bands and tribute acts
throughout the two days. From Saturday midday until 8pm; and Sunday 11am until
6pm, people will be able to enjoy live music, food and drink stalls and an
incredible atmosphere for all the family.
There will also be an array of activities planned for children, including face painting,
a bouncy castle, circus skills and a Mad Hatter's Tea Party.
"We are delighted that Purley Festival is back again this year," says Purley BID
Board Member Ben Gershon of Frost Estate Agents.
"It is a great event for the community and businesses in Purley and surrounding
areas. We are looking forward to an unforgettable weekend."

The festival will showcase the best of local talent as well as a blend of tribute acts,
pumping out classic tunes. Trush Patel from the Jolly Farmers in Purley is
particularly keen to see the festival return. "As the Jolly's is all about food, drink and
great live music, we are eager to support Purley Festival again and looking forward
to helping bring the festival vibes back into Purley for the weekend."
The Purley Festival is not just about entertainment; it's a platform for community
engagement, to promote local talent and community spirit, and to create a space
where everyone feels welcomed and celebrated. Part of the festival's proceeds will
go towards supporting local charities and community projects.
