The world friendliest Holiday destinations
Smile! You're in Iceland
Two of our favourite places - Iceland and New Zealand - have been voted the world's friendliest holiday destinations.
The World Economic Forum surveyed 140 countries from 2011 to 2012, basing its "friendly factor" on how welcome foreign visitors are. It's no surprise to us that Iceland and New Zealand came out on top.
There's still time to book a goliday to the Land of Fire, Ice and Smiles this spring and summer, but don't leave it to the last minute as there are only limited accommodation in Iceland's most popular areas. With its year round appeal, New Zealand is also guaranteed to put a smile on your face - its winter month promise snow-dusted scenery, fun activities, few visitors, beautilful light and great value!
