Mary Wallace Theatre
The Mary Wallace Theatre on Twickenham Riverside
is owned by the Richmond Shakespeare Society, a
highly-respected amateur dramatic society, with a
wide membership. It was founded in 1934 to perform
Shakespeare's play annually in the open air.

Hampton Hill Theatre
Hampton Hill Theatre (HHT), a state of the art
purpose-built theatre with a 200 seat auditorium
and a 50 seat studio, is home to Teddington Theatre
Club (TTC).

Langdon Down Museum of
Learning Disability
The Langdon Down Museum of Learning Disability
and Normansfield Theatre are situated in the former
home of Dr John Langdon Down, who used a
revolutionary, enlightened approach in the care of
those with learning disability.

Eel Pie Island Museum
Located in central Twickenham, just a short stroll
from the island itself - famous for its role in the
music of the Swinging Sixties, its working heritage
boatyards and its thriving creative community.

Normansfield Theatre
Built in 1879 by Dr John Langdon Down,
Normansfield Theatre is a Grade II listed Victorian
Theatre. The restored Victorian scenery, which has
no equal anywhere else in Britain, is extraordinarily
complete with over 100 pieces of stock scenery.
They were in receipt of Heritage Lottery Grant
in 2015, which included the development of
photographic catalogue of every piece of scenery
and a virtual theatre. A regular programme of
performances and events take place and are
available on their website. The theatre is hired out
regularly for performances, fairs, classes and talks.

The Exchange is a newly built community venue
with a 300 seat theatre, 6 studio rooms, a café
