Apprenticeship standards outline the
skills, knowledge, and behaviours (KSBs)
required to carry out a certain job role.
All apprentices must take an independent assessment at the end of their
training to demonstrate the KSBs set out in the occupational standard.
Recently the Apprenticeships Department have completed a mapping document
with all of the available apprenticeship's standards. The main purpose of this
task was to allows leaders to understand and consider what is being delivered
on apprenticeship programme, how it is being delivered and most importantly
which standards are being covered. This is showing the opportunities for
career progression within that route which will help supporting development
discussions with employees. The Apprenticeship Department will ensure that
all apprenticeship standards are up to date and how they can be utilised to full
effect.
The mapping document is now available in the Academy via the Managers
Portal, under the Apprenticeship Tile >Tools & Resources > Mangers Portal >
Apprenticeships > Apprenticeship Standards
To help you understand the website the document will direct you to, you will
find a webinar showing you how to navigate the 'Institute of Apprenticeships'
