This week's special
Potato and prawn salad
Our special this week is potato and prawn salad. It is a fresh and yummy
dish suitable for anyone in any season, especially summer. Read on to
learn how to make it.
Ingredients
4 potatoes 12 frozen cooked prawns
3 carrots 2 boiled eggs (cut into slices)
1 small cabbage 2 tablespoons vinegar
1 cup lettuce leaves 3 tablespoons olive oil
1 cucumber 1 tablespoon salt
2 tomatoes
Steps
1 Peel and cut the potatoes and carrots into cubes. Put the cubes into
a saucepan, cover them with water and add some salt. Boil for
12 minutes and dry them.
2 Put the cubes into a bowl. Add vinegar and olive oil.
3 Wash the lettuce leaves with cold water and dry them. Then spread
them over a large plate. Put the potato and carrot cubes onto the
leaves.
4 Cut the tomatoes and cucumber into slices. Put them onto the leaves.
5 Chop the cabbage. Then spread the cabbage pieces, the egg slices and
the prawns on the top of the dish.
6 Squeeze a little lemon juice over the salad or add a salad dressing.
The dish is ready to serve.
