Jimmy Choo Launches Choo Sketch
Capsule Collection
An idea born out of lockdown last year when
Creative Director, Sandra Choi engaged
in a creative conversation with the brand's
Instagram community sharing weekly fantasy
shoe sketches inspired by words that sparked
optimism as the world navigated a global
pandemic. Followers were invited to join the
creative conversation by submitting their
fantasy shoe sketches. Over 10,000 designs
were submitted with five sketches chosen to
be brought to life and sold as a capsule with
100% of profits donated to The Jimmy Choo
Foundation's charity partner, Women for
Women International.
"I wanted to share my love of sketching with
the Jimmy Choo community in the hope it
would provide a moment of escape whilst we
were all united in the challenges the Covid-19
pandemic brought. I was overwhelmed by the
number of sketches and stories we received and
felt inspired and touched that we had reached
so many people around the world. It was difficult
to shortlist the number of submissions down to
just 10, but each of the finalists had created a
design which really resonated with me and I'm
thrilled to be supporting Women for Women
International and the incredible work they do
helping transform the lives of women survivors
of conflict."
The competition received an incredible response
with over 10,000 sketches submitted from
countries all over the world and from people of
all ages. Sandra shortlisted ten sketches which
were put to a final vote on the brand's Instagram
@jimmychoo.

global partnership with Women for Women
International as their Global Philanthropic
Beneficiary.

the partnership will support Women for Women
International's work with the most marginalized
women survivors of war in countries affected
by conflict, helping them to become successful
entrepreneurs and inspire hope for the future.
