SHARING OUTCOMES FROM REGIONAL AND NATIONAL AUDITS
A priority of the Trust is Outcome Based Accountability and as such along with sharing audit activity we need to start
sharing our quality improvement outcomes from our involvement in Regional and National audits.
Alongside the Directory of Regional/National Audits the Audit/QI Facilitators have been working hard on gathering
together the Recommendations made from the published reports. Over the next few months the Facilitators will be
arranging to meet the Audit Leads in order to gain some feedback on the 'next steps' planned following any published
recommendations.
This is a support function of the Audit and Quality Improvement Department and if required the Facilitators will
undertake any additional audit activity to help identify improvements from implemented recommendations.
Please share this information within your Directorates.
DIRECTORATE AUDIT PLANS 2017/18
REPORTED OUTCOMES
Similar to the Audit Summary Form that is completed
for audits that do not require assistance from the Audit
and Quality Improvement Department; the Audit/QI
Facilitators will be making contact with audit leads to
request a summary of outcomes/improvements from
the audits that were carried out in 2017/18.
These summary reports and
outcomes will be added to the
Trustwide Audit Directory that
will be available on iconnect:
DIRECTORATE AUDIT PLANS 2018/19
We will again be asking for an updated Audit Plan for
your Directorate detailing all activity planned for the
year 2018/19.
We are working on a 'New' template for the Directorate
Audit Plans at present that will incorporate the
requirement to report on outcomes and improvements
which can be periodically updated by the Audit Lead.
