WHY ARE PDR'S IMPORTANT AND HOW TO HOLD AN EFFECTIVE ONE
The PDR conversation is an opportunity for colleagues and their managers to discuss current performance and their
aspirations for the future and to hold an effective PDR and one-to-one conversation, you'll need to use a variety of skills.
IMPORTANTANCE EFFECTIVENESS
>> A PDR must be about improving and stretching performance
in terms of their skills, knowledge and behaviours.
>> It is an opportunity for the employee to discuss how their
manager can help them suceed and progress within AmcoGiffen.
>> If your colleague is close to retirement or has no desire to
progress, it is still important to hold a PDR discussion to
feedback on their current performance and for them to raise
any issues or ideas that they may have.
