We're pleased to be able to share that we've restarted our
leadership development programmes, with the MDP
(Management Development Programme) now converted to an
online format.
Whilst our face to face event was cancelled at the start of
lockdown, our existing cohort have been able to pick up with their
peers and continue their learning journey by attending a 2-day
virtual workshop in June where they presented their
group presentations that they had been working on together
outside of the workshop sessions.
The feedback has been very positive, with a few people saying
that they missed the face to face contact, overall the experience
was engaging and supportive and well worth it.
We have taken on board feedback for the new cohort that has
just started and have taken steps to ensure that there are plenty
of networking opportunities available.
The MDP is a blended learning journey, available for EMEA
managers by nomination from their line manager. It is linked
closely to CV leadership expectations, business strategy and our
values .
Following the launch of the new
Global PEP competencies in May,
we've updated our development
guides to support development
of skills and behaviours in each of
the new competencies!
We've reworked the existing
guides to give guidance on how
to develop the new
competencies for individual
contributors and team leaders to
senior managers across the
business, recommending
activities that your teams can try
out on the job to build their
competency.
We'll be making these bigger
and better in future, with a
more dynamic hosting platform
and additional resources: watch
this space!
