PROGRESS
In 2018, the LGBT + rainbow flag was redesigned to also
represent the LGBT + communities of colour, the trans
community, people living with HIV, and people no longer
with us.
This new flag is called the LGBT + Progress Pride Flag, with the main section on the right
being the well-known six-stripe LGBT + flag and the "Progress" variation adds a chevron
along the hoist that features black, brown, light blue, pink, and white stripes to bring those
communities (marginalized people of color, trans individuals, and those living with HIV/
AIDS and those who have been lost) to the forefront.
BISEXUAL
The bisexual pride flag was introduced as an effort to give
bisexual people their own rallying symbol similar to the
rainbow flag.
The pink stripe represents attraction to the same sex. The
blue stripe represents opposite sex attraction and the
purple gained from mixing the two represents attraction to
both same and opposite-sex people.
LESBIAN
There are many lesbian pride flags, but the most well know
would be the "pink flag".
The flag has six shades of red and pink colours and a strip
of white along the middle. The original design, known
as the lipstick lesbian flag, is the same as this flag but
includes a kiss mark in the corner.
