L - Lesbian, G - Gay, B - Bisexual & T - Transgender
There is no universally accepted term for the LGBT+
community and you might see variances such as
LGBTQ (Q for questioning/queer) or LGBTQIA (I for
intersex and A for Asexual).
PERSONAL PRONOUNS
A personal pronoun is a word that is used to refer to
an individual.
Some individuals may choose to use she/her/hers or
he/him/his and others may choose the gender neutral
they/them/theirs to describe themselves.
Ze/zir are additional alternate pronouns that are also
gender neutral and preferred by some individuals in
the LGBT+ community. They replace "he" and "she"
and "his" and "hers" respectively.
Collective grouping can also be different sometimes
when used to describe how a person identifies i.e
"Womxn" may be used to describe a group of cisgender and transgender
women in a group.
