Visit Rio de Janeiro for its samba dancing,

James Bond Movie "Moonraker". Buenos
Aires is a top tourist destination, known
for its tango dancing, European style
architecture and rich cultural ambiance.
Sail the 2880 mile long Chilean coastline
squeezed in between the Andes and
the Pacific Ocean - famous for its
vineyards, Atacama Desert, fjords,
twisting peninsulas and islands. Lima ,
the capital of Peru, has beautiful colonial
architecture, is a UNESCO World
Heritage Site and gateway to the world
famous Nazca Lines - situated 286 miles
away.
The Straits of Magellan are the
Northernmost Route through Cape Horn
which takes you past Punta Arenas in
Chile and was explored by Ferdinand
Magellan in 1520. The Beagle Channel,
named after Darwin's ship, is 150 miles
long and takes you through the Tierra
del Fuego Archipelago of islands at
the southern tip of South America, past
Ushuaia in Argentina. Finally the 500
mile wide Drake Passage is the body of
water between the southern tip of South
America at Cape Horn, and the South
Shetland Islands of Antarctica - named
after Sir Francis Drake.
