Jeff Jeffreys - Bishop Fox 1981
I came to New York in 2002 on a temporary work visa and have ended
up making US my home. After twelve years based in New York another
work opportunity took me (and my family) to Virginia, near Washington
DC in September 2014.
I have just started a new job and my two daughters started in a new
Elementary school close by this semester. I keep in contact with
Alistair House (F81), Nelson Poon (F81) and Steve Couch (F81) but
haven't met any US based OA's in my time here. I have found LinkedIn
to be a very helpful tool to stay in touch.
I am running the New York marathon on 2nd November 2014 raising
money for WaterAid. All donations much appreciated at www.

Richard Farr - King Alfred 1977
Having come to the US for 3 years (in
theory), I have just celebrated my thirtieth
anniversary on this side of the pond -
almost twenty of those in Seattle.
OAs here and in the UK may be interested
to know that my thriller "The Fire Seekers" is
to be published by Skyscape on November
1st, and I have already garnered some
enthusiastic reviews on Amazon's US site
from an early e-book promotion. It was
originally categorised (by the publisher)
as "Young Adult science fiction," but I was
delighted by a reviewer who said "More like
Dan Brown meets Umberto Eco, for adults.
Chris Thom - King Alfred1967
I have just announced my retirement. In a couple of weeks we sail
down to Portsmouth VA, from where we will participate in the ARC
Caribbean 1500. This is a rally that sails across the Atlantic to Tortola,
BVIs. My wife, Nicky, and I plan to live on board for the next six months
and island hop around the Leewards and the Windwards.
I am in touch with Bob Williams in the UK and Simon Jones in the US.
Lars Harrington - Friend of King's
We are not in contact with other OAs in the country, however, my
son Max, as a former pupil, is in touch with some of his former
schoolmates. Life in Phoenix is treating us well, we just celebrated
our 21st wedding anniversary, Max and Mia are thriving in their school,
Tesseract. In fact Max is seriously planning on attending university
in England, so we are working towards that plan. My company turns
20 years old next year, I am very proud of that achievement to own
and run a company successfully in the US.
