We are pleased to announce that, as part of our commitment
to supporting the development of all colleagues across EMEA, we
have made some changes to the structure of the European L&D
Team to create new functional Business Partnership
responsibilities.
Ella Cotton will continue to manage the European team and will
also act as a Business Partner for the Lens Care business and as a
liaison for our Commercial colleagues. In addition to his focus on
leadership skills, Carl Hathaway will become the Business Partner
for EMEA Operations and Emma Ede will become the Business
Partner for Manufacturing in the UK, including R&D and ETIG which
complements her focus on professional development.
Eszter Dobak continues her role as Business Partner
for Hungary Manufacturing and Operations and will take a more
active role in the European team with a focus on coaching,
mentoring and job rotation.
A new UK-focused team has been created within the European
L&D team and we welcome Wioleta Otolinska into the team as UK
Apprenticeship Lead. Together with Karen Austin, she will be
focusing on UK-centric L&D processes and on advancing the takeup of UK apprenticeships across the business.
These changes will enable us to further support the many
transformation projects that are taking place across manufacturing
and operations and provide a consultative approach to learning
and development across the EMEA region."

'Education is only a
ladder to gather fruit
from the tree of
knowledge, not the
fruit itself'
Not everything we learn is
through a course. Learning
happens all the time: when we
experience new challenges, make
different decisions and try new
approaches, we learn a new way
to do (or not to do) things.
One great way to make sure you
keep track of all your learning is
to create a Continuing
Professional Development (CPD)
log.

This doesn't have to be too
formal: just a place to record
what you've done differently or
when you've tried something
new. Note down your reflections
and what you've taken away from
a project or objective. Encourage
your team to do the same, as
part of their ongoing
development too!
