Welcome to VisitRichmond's May edition of the
What's On Brochure which showcases all the wonderful
arts, music, theatre, culture, history and heritage that
Richmond upon Thames has to offer to encourage us
all to #visitlocal and discover what is on your doorstep.

This month we have a very special event taking place
at The Poppy Factory on 8 May when there will be an open
afternoon will coincide with national events to remember
the end of the Second World War in Europe. Their veteran
workers and their families were among those who took
to the streets of London to celebrate the end of the
war in 1945.
VisitRichmond is delighted to confirm that they will
be attending this year's Richmond May Fair (10th) and
Chestnut Sunday (11th) in Bushy Park. Do visit their stand
to discover what is on your doorstep and hear about the
amazing events, attractions and local businesses that we
have in Richmond upon Thames.

purchase locally grown produce. Do not forget to get your

and have access to a variety of local business offers
and discounts. Please do visit our Richmond Station
Information Kiosk which is open daily 10am-3pm where
you can meet one of the volunteers who take pride in their
in-depth knowledge of Richmond upon Thames, but also
have a genuine interest in the history of the area. Collect
