YOUR ITINERARY - DEPARTS 19TH NOVEMBER 2014
Day 1 - London Heathrow to Rio de Janeiro: Fly overnight
from London Heathrow to Rio de Janeiro.
Day 2 - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: Upon arrival in Rio you will
be transferred to the port and embark Marina for your 11-night
cruise. Enjoy an evening on board in Rio. (Overnight in port)
Day 3 - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: Take a scenic cable car ride
to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain for its renowned view. Ride
the cog railway through dense forest to Corcovado. Visit the
lush botanical gardens, see famed Ipanema and Copacabana
beaches and take in a thrilling samba show. Marina departs
Rio de Janeiro at 6pm.
Day 4 - Buzios, Brazil: Known as the St. Tropez of Brazil,
Buzios boasts a cosmopolitan style similar to the French
Riviera. Choose from twenty different beaches to sunbathe on,
including Azeda Beach with its crystal clear calm waters.
Day 5 - Ilha Grande, Brazil: Explore this beautiful island,
hiking its trails, kayaking, snorkelling, diving to spectacular
sites or simply relaxing on its gorgeous beaches. Savour
the dense tropical forest with its diversity of birds, flowers,
iguanas, monkeys and myriad wildlife found in this
protected reserve.
Day 6 - Sao Paulo (Santos), Brazil: Travel inland to
vibrant São Paulo and see its modern skyscrapers and
monuments and visit the beautiful art museum. Or explore
charming Santos and its extraordinary botanical garden.
Day 7 - Porto Belo, Brazil: Located on a beautiful
peninsula in southern Brazil, Porto Belo is famous for its
beaches, especially Bombas and Bombinhas, which share
a stunning emerald green bay.
Day 8 - At sea.
Day 9 - Rio Grande, Brazil: Spend the day exploring the
beautiful old Portuguese city of Rio Grande, with its gracious
squares and pretty churches.
Day 10 - Punta Del Este, Uruguay: Spend the day enjoying
this beautiful, chic beach resort, its marinas and interesting
shops.
Day 11 - Montevideo, Uruguay: Explore Uruguay's
charming capital city with its parks and colonial architecture.
Visit a local vineyard and sample its wines.
Day 12 - Buenos Aires, Argentina: Discover this elegant
city and its beautiful surroundings with a tranquil cruise
through the Tigre Delta past islands, or enjoy a fabulous
tango show in its birthplace. (Overnight in port)
Day 13 - Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazu: After breakfast
onboard, disembark Marina and transfer by private car
to Jorge Newbery airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazu.
Upon arrival in Puerto Iguazu you will be transferred to your

Day 14 - Puerto Iguazu: This morning you will visit the
Argentinean Falls in the Iguazu National Park. This place
is known as the 'Hito de las Tres Fronteras' because at this
point Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay converge. Your visit
includes a stroll to La Garganta del Diablo, known as the
'The Devil's Throat' which is 150 m (490 ft) wide and 700 m
(2,290 ft) long. Here, you may be able to see many species
of wildlife, such as toucans, parakeets, coatis, capuchin
monkeys and several species of tropical butterflies. If time
permits, you'll enjoy a walk along the upper trails around
the spectacular Iguazu Falls, admiring the whole system of
more than 275 different falls. Lunch will be served at
'La Seva' restaurant (Argentinean side)
Day 15 - Foz de Iguazu - Puerto Iguazu - Buenos Aires:
This morning you will wander along the 'Cataratas Trail'
on the Brazilian side of the Iguazu National Park. From
spots all along the path (distance 1.5 km/1 mile) there are
panoramic views of the falls, one of the most beautiful
natural landmarks in all of South America. At the end of
the trail a catwalk provides breathtaking views of the tallest
waterfall, the Devils' Throat. The tour ends at the top of the
falls accessed through a panoramic elevator. The vehicle
that will take you back to the hotel waits for you at Puerto
Canoas, only a few minutes' walk from the elevator. After
your tour you will be transferred back to the airport on the
Argentinean side for your flight back to Buenos Aires. Upon
arrival in Buenos Aires you will be transferred to a 4-star
hotel. Evening at leisure, Buenos Aires. Lunch included in
a local restaurant in Brazilian side.
Day 16 - Buenos Aires - London Heathrow: After
breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your
overnight return flight to London Heathrow.
Day 17 - Arrive UK.
