PRECISION CAST MODELS
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
HPI’s lead designer for their die-cast models is Yasuhiro
‘KJ’ Kajihara, an extremely experienced and highly
regarded craftsman in the world of die-cast cars. KJ came
to HPI from one of the most reputable die-cast firms
in the world and heads-up the department, producing
some of the world’s finest die-cast collectible model cars.
KJ supervises nearly every step of the selection, design,
prototyping and finish of each high-spec HPI die-cast
model car. His devotion to his craft is plain to see when
looking at any of the HPI range.
Recently, staying true to its car fanatic heritage, HPI
has moved into the 1:43 scale die-cast car market. This
represents a bold and exciting direction for the company,
and highlights once again the commitment to HPI’s vision.
We know that the die-cast range of products will showcase

and production begins. Every effort is made during each
step of the production process to ensure all the unique
features and details of the full size car carefully captured
in the 3D models are present in the final product.
