the staff at RSPCA centres,
and all our rabbits are microchipped
(so they can be returned to you if
they get lost), neutered (so they can't
have babies) and vaccinated to
protect them against nasty rabbit
diseases. But there are still a few
things to consider...

space! Rabbits need a large shelter to
sleep and rest in and a permanently
attached large, secure exercise area so
they can run and play. They need lots
of hiding places to go to if
they are scared and
their housing needs to
be cleaned regularly.
Rabbits are active,
intelligent, social and
inquisitive so they also need
an interesting environment.
For example, giving them toys
and somewhere to dig can help
keep boredom away.
