Systematic Narrative Reviews Abstracts 2021 - 1 (pagetiger.com)
Research & Evaluation Abstract 2021 - 1 (pagetiger.com)
In 2021-2022 we are delivering the year's programme as a blended teaching
approach. Year one the systematic narrative review is inclusive of service users
and carers and practitioners training together. Likewise in year two the
students are progressing research and evaluation work. Together these pieces of
work begin to build the evidence base in Northern Ireland relevant to practice.
A diverse range of topics are being addressed through systematic reviews
including:
Perspectives of parents with children with autism spectrum
syndrome particularly in context of telehealth;
Social Media Addiction: Loneliness among Young Persons;
The challenges for young people in Northern Ireland with Mental
Health issues navigating the labour market';
Quality of Life Residential Care Older people-cross cultural study;
Alternatives to Acute Admissions in Crisis situations;
Carers Assessments - carers perspectives;
Strengths and weaknesses of domestic behavioural change
Programmes;
Supporting those in institutional care - dementia - decision making;
Overcoming barriers to unpaid caring - primary care.
A huge thank you to Emma Craig for all her hard
work and commitment supporting the Research
Methods Programme. Emma takes up a new post
with Belfast City Council. We wish her well.
