Our year 2014/15 | Sector focus
We were delighted to win new clients including
Assouline, a luxury international bookseller and
publisher, assisting them with their first UK flagship
store, The Cash Shop, Castle Rock and Floris Estates.
We also advised a premier cash management specialist
on a £20m+ contract to service 3,700 ATMs for a large
supermarket across the UK. We have seen a substantial
increase in the quantity and scope of work - especially
for one of the world's largest conglomerates - many
of which are high profile, strategically important
transactions. These included advising a high value
retailer on the opening of its first European Airport
store.
Other high profile instructions included advising
Donington Park Racing Circuit on arrangements for the
construction of global headquarters and team testing
facilities of the new electric race car championship, FIA
Formula E, as well as on the construction of the new
stand at Welford Road for Leicester Tigers Rugby Club.
For the second year in a row we hosted the Property
Managers Association's annual legal seminar, attended by
over 50 leading retail estates managers and key decision
makers. We were also the only UK law firm to be invited
to speak at the Shopping Centre Forum in Warsaw on the
effect of omni-channel retailing on lease agreements.
