Our North West Schools Arts Competition has been running for three years and has seen over 90
schools taking part and submitting more than 2,700 pieces of art in that time.
The competition has been supported by the Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity and the Sale Sharks, alongside
a series of distinguished judges including Manchester illustrator Stanley Chow, co-founder of the book 'The Good
Old Drawing', Philip Hodgkinson and well-known children's illustrator, Martin Impey. This year's theme was focused
on the environment and, as in previous years, the shortlisted entries on display in the Museum of Science & Industry
were of the highest quality.

I really enjoyed the art competition. When
I heard that I had won first place my mouth
dropped to the floor."
