Cut down on the flying (or cut it out altogether) and stay close to home to explore Iceland and the Norwegian Fjords on
this brand-new ship. This is the first of the innovative Leonardo class of ship which launched in August 2022 and is built
with a higher space per passenger ratio than the rest of the fleet.
Iceland is the world's 18th largest island and Europe's second largest island after Great Britain. Polar bears occasionally
visit the island, travelling on icebergs from Greenland and seabirds, are a very important part of Iceland's animal
life where Puffins, skuas, and kittiwakes' nest on its sea cliffs. Have a weird wallow in the huge outdoor Blue Lagoon
geothermal spa amid a volcanic landscape and swirling mists of steam. The charming old quarter of Reykjavík has
colourful wooden houses and narrow streets with a buzzing café scene and nightlife. Perhaps visit the impressive
volcanic craters of the Heidmork conservation area, and enjoy a stop at The Pearl, a remarkable and unique building,
built in 1988.
The west coast of Norway is home to the Fjords a where Geiranger Fjord is a UNESCO World Heritage Site - it is nine
miles long and is the most photographed of fjord of them all. This fjord is surrounded by the steepest mountains on
the entire west coast, it is very narrow and has foaming waterfalls (Seven Sisters and Suitor) which plunge into the fjord
from jagged peaks.
