Garden is a rare survivor from the 17th century. With
atmospheric Stuart interiors barely changed in over
350 years, the house is a treasure trove of art and
furniture. Visit to discover the strong women who
shaped the house and its remarkable collection,
and hear fascinating tales of the English Civil
Wars and royal connections. Wander through
the impressive formal gardens including a
walled Kitchen Garden, which is also home to the
wisteria-covered Orangery Café.
