Congratulations to Tobias Handschuh who won the
Richmond Routes Competition. "Tobias Handschuh is
keen kayaker and paddle boarder who is very familiar with
this view of Twickenham Riverside. He visits the pontoon
where the winning shot on our front cover was taken and
captures it regularly, often seeing some stunning displays
in different conditions. He takes this route to take pictures
in winter when there is mist on the river, at sunset when
St. Mary's Church is often lit up in orange or pink, and
whenever there's dramatic weather or clouds. It was by
sheer chance that the low afternoon sun moved into the
perfect position when Tobias was there to create a pristine
double rainbow over Eel Pie Island!"
