4 Congratulations to Allister Lewis and the Hampshire County
Council Architects team on the news that Berewood Primary
School has been shortlisted for a Constructing Excellence
Award for Building Information Modelling Project of the Year.
Allister Lewis said, 'This recognises the innovative process we
used to produce the information in collaboration with our
consultants and the contractor. We are naturally delighted
and looking forward to the Gala Dinner and Awards
Ceremony in July.'

Brand new CAT academy opens in September
Berewood Primary School will serve new community near Waterlooville
Led by Mrs Sue Patrick, previously Headteacher of Jessie
Younghusband School in Chichester, Berewood Primary
School will welcome its first pupils this September and
ultimately provide 420 places for 4-11 year olds.
Prospective parents have been able to take Hard Hat Tours to
see the build in progress and a new staff team has been
appointed including teachers, a nursery nurse and a site coordinator.
Mrs Patrick said, 'It's so exciting to see the school taking
shape and to be part of the team that is planning down to the
last detail for all the children who will be joining us.'
