Some sessions will focus on sharing participants work on their projects and learning from each
other. These sessions will also reinforce the content from learning sets and IHI Open School
Modules. Project Teams will give a 5-10 minute presentation at these sessions.
Judging of QI Projects will take place on Friday 15 May 2020 (15 minute time slots) and a final
celebratory event will take place on Tuesday 9 June 2020. Poster viewing from 2:00pm closes at
approximately 6.00pm.
Venue:
The monthly sessions for the programme will take place within the Quality Improvement and
Innovation Centre (QIIC, Trust Headquarters) at the Ulster Hospital. Please note additional time is
required for travel and parking on site.

Support and Mentoring: Participants will receive support and advice through their allocated Mentor
or through a QI Clinic*.
Mentors will be supported by the faculty within South Eastern HSC Trust. For those from external
organisations support can be provided through QI Clinics.
*Detail to follow via email. These are 30 minute time slots pre-booked to discuss projects with QI
Faculty members and are available to all Trust Staff.
Who can do this?
Anyone who wants to learn more about Quality Improvement (QI) and undertake a Quality
Improvement Project
Anyone leading QI Projects.
