Mary Wallace Theatre
The Mary Wallace Theatre on Twickenham
Riverside is owned and run by the Richmond
Shakespeare Society, a highly-respected amateur
dramatic society, with a wide membership. It was
founded in 1934 to perform Shakespeare's play
annually in the open air, which it continues to do
alongside a wide programme of productions in the
Theatre.

Langdon Down Centre
The Langdon Down Centre and Normansfield
Theatre are situated in the former house of Dr
John Langdon Down, who used a revolutionary,
enlightened approach in the care of those with
learning disability.

Eel Pie Island Museum
Located in central Twickenham, just a short stroll
from the Island itself - famed for its role in the 60s
music boom, its working boatyards and thriving
creative community.

Hampton Hill Theatre
Has a 200 seat auditorium, a 50 seat studio and
is home to over 20 local arts, community and
school groups staging 25 shows a year. It offers
cinema and comedy nights, a Christmas grotto, and
activities for well-being charities. It's also available
for hire.

Normansfield Theatre
Built in 1879 Dr John Langdon Down, Normansfield
Theatre is a Grade II listed Victorian Theatre. The
restored Victorian scenery, which has no equal
anywhere else in Britain, is extraordinarily complete
with over 100 pieces of stock scenery. They were
in receipt of Heritage Lottery Grant in 2015, which
included the development of photographic catalogue
of every piece of scenery and virtual theatre. A
regular programme of performances and events
take place and are available on their website. The
theatre is hired out regularly for performances, fairs,
classes and talks
