JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive profitable sales growth across all services and solutions within HS UK ensuring
alignment with the global strategic plans for the dental business.
• Establish and maintain effective formal and informal links with major customers, key
decision-makers and other stakeholders generally, to exchange information and
views and to ensure that the company is providing the appropriate range and
quality of services.
• Understand the importance of an excellent customer experience & journey ensuring
that structure is put in place across the whole business
• Coaches, develops and motivates the HSD external and internal Sales Team to be
results-driven, team-oriented and to achieve monthly, quarterly sales and NPS
targets
• Ensure all sales team members are trained and implementing challenger sales
approach to key sales opportunities
• Collaborate with the peers, leadership and European counterparts to develop new
solutions and business models to create new income streams.
• Set Sales & GP budgets for the HSD consumables business and drive teams to
above budget performance
• Work with Sales & Marketing Director on strategic development including pricing,
customer experience and density, acquisitions, market research and the sales force
of the future
• Work alongside Regional brand equity director to develop plan & strategies to
maximise brand equity penetration.
• Develop the short- and long-range plan with your teams to present to the Sales &
Marketing Director and monitor progress against these plans to ensure that the
company attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible.
• Collaborate with marketing on branding and sales campaigns to drive sales and
profit goals
• Manage key supplier relationships to ensure HSD are working effectively and
efficiently to maximise profit/ superior contract terms, while ensuring value for the
customer.
• Be an ambassador for Henry Schein Dental in the community, by developing and
maintaining professional relationships
• Identify and develop key employees to create succession plans and future leaders
within the business.
• Present monthly business reviews to Sales & Marketing Director
