We can use the word prompts under the pictures to complete the
writing task. We also have to pay attention to the details in the
pictures and think of more words to describe the pictures by ourselves.
Look at the example below. It shows how we can use pictorial cues to
elaborate on our ideas:
In the picture, there is a large bookshelf with a lot of books, so we
know that Ted spent his free time in the library. Also, Ted picked
a book with an illustration of a detective on its cover. This shows the
book was a detective story.
